In the spring of 2015 three friends and I went to Maldives to check out the diving. We were on the Aggressor fleet and had a wonderful experience although one of the divers got DCS and had to go to the recompression chamber. (He got caught in a updraft water column that shot him up 40 feet in about 10 seconds.) If you are a diver and you don't have DAN dive insurance you are making a HUGE mistake. DAN not only helped us via phone when we were on the boat but arranged everything with the chamber so that when we got to land (at 11PM) they were waiting for us.
